  1. hi,
According to this video,u can relate the incident that will happen if our country can't support the energy demand in the future,so i think goverment and other relevant parties should work together to create a new technology,in order to sustain energy in Malaysia,

  2. in my opininon, there is no doubt that the future of energy in Malaysia would be nuclear energy. although it might take a few more years and it would also be hard to get the publics acceptance without properly exposing them to the idea.

  4. Populations are increasing and there will be up to 70% percent of the citizens residing in cities or megacities in few decades time, where the demand for electricity will be in sharp increase. The modern, sophisticated and growing number of buildings require mass amount of electricity.
Are we still going to burn coal to generate electricity that time while our neighbor already have nuclear power? That will labelled us as lagging nation.

  5. The clip you guys made was very informative, but it's a little too long. Anyway you guys did a good job explaining about our future without nuclear energy as a source of energy replacing our current source, fossil fuel. It's going to be disastrous. Hopefully nuclear power generators can be implemented as soon as possible because we really do not want our natural resources to run out.

  6. This kind of video should be exposed to the public. it is because the citizen should have knowledge about the goodness and benefits of using the nuclear plant in our country. with this effort,we can help the government to achieved target to have our own nuclear plant. this also to help the consumer with their routine life as we know the energy request which definitely will increase towards to the increase of the population. the nuclear used is really important in the future to generate the economic grows and so on

A well done documentary there. Indeed the main reason for nuclear is that we are running out of natural resources. If we keep using coal, fossil fuel it will burden our country financially as the prices are bound to increase. Therefore lets keep our fingers crossed that nuclear is achieved!

Its very interesting video. Message is clear, next ten years, our energy source unable to cope with its energy demand. The consequences, we suffer from power failure and breakdown. We are already running out of natural resources. This can be resolved by operating a nuclear power plant in our country.

  18. Hey there.

Good job on the video. Especially the part on how a nuclear reactor works. It is scary when we talk about natural disaster such as global warming, melting of ice and etc. And we are now currently letting all the natural disaster to happen one by one because we are still using natural resources which emits carbon dioxide. What we really need is a solution to all these problems which is Nuclear Energy.

And yes, when the time comes where we dont have electricity, many problems will arise. Chaos will happen here and there. So what are we still waiting for? Our current energy sources are unable to cope with the demand.

The government should not waste 5 billion on building a Mega Tower but should use them to speed up the development of Nuclear Energy in our country.

  33. hi,
    i just get this info,
    uranium price:
    1997 - 15$/lb,
    2000 - 9.45$/lb,
    2007 - 75$/lb,
    2008 - 95$/lb(PEAK in 1997-2010),
    2010 - 61$/lb,

from 1997 to 2007 (10 years time) uranium price has become 5 times higher. with today price (61$/lb) to generates 1000MWe for 1year need $4,034,459.48 just to buy the uranium. but imagine the price later going up drasticly.

on 2000 until 2010(in 10 yrs time) it increase 6.45 times. let say the price increase in the same speed from 2010 until 2020, the price will be 393.45$/lb.(because nowday not many countries using nuclear yet, but when almost every country use it, it will has the same fate as petrol, coal and any fossil fuel.)

But I have to agree that for now nuclear is the best option available compared to others but if can later we switch our energy resources to hydrogen, which is more economic and greener.

  35. As said by other bloggers, it is the true that the future will rely on nuclear energy. This is the fact. It's not harmful. Many Malaysian do not know about the benefits of using the nuclear as they are very commonly been feared that nuclear is dangerous and harmful. So with the correct exposure of the nuclear's benefits, I believe that its time to start it. But certain measures should be taken. The help from professional of countries that have already implement the usage of nuclear should be brought in. Many ways are there. So we must be carefull with our every moves.

If that so,why don't we just use and work up on the hydroelectric energy that we already have in Malaysia which is also use the turbine to generate electricity rather than building the nuclear power plant. I think we really can depend on renewable energy because it is 'renewable'. It will not last till the end. Furthermore, renewable energy does not have any safety issue compared to nuclear.

  71. hi. i enjoy the video works. adding my knowledge on how nuclear power plant works. before, i didn't know the pallet is situated inside the tube.
after all the blogs about nuclear, it is clear about the goodness of nuclear energy. but how about the waste. i mean waste management. could anybody from nuclear class explain more about it.
